Start with the issue you are seeing. The beta is still being tested with real documents and different Windows setups.
Complex Word layouts, floating objects, and legacy structures can vary. Work on a disposable copy first and compare the saved document with the original in Word before submitting it.
The current beta installer is unsigned. Its public download page will show the exact file size and SHA-256 so you can check what you received. Never disable Windows security protections just to install it.
Send a bug report or idea through the website. Add an optional email address if you would like a reply.
Send a reportCheck whether Writer confirmed a successful save, or showed a protection warning. Keep the original file. Try Save As with a new filename and reopen that copy. If saving is refused, record the warning and your Writer version in a bug report. A refused save does not update the original document.
Open Writer release details and compare the version and file size. In Windows PowerShell, use Get-FileHash followed by the installer path to obtain its SHA-256, then compare the entire value with the published checksum. The beta remains unsigned; a checksum checks file integrity and does not certify its publisher.
Yes. Browsing the collection and reading release details requires no sign-in. Downloads will be linked from each application’s release page when available. Android applications currently in development have no public build listed.
Yes. Choosing Send report emails your report through Resend to Oveko. Copy and download remain available without sending anything. Include the affected product, version and steps that reproduce the issue, and leave out private documents or passwords.
